Unfortunately (and fortunately!), Ben was not born on the ferry. Apparently if you are, you get a free life pass on BC Ferries. Mom thinks the mother should too! Ben's first ferry ride occured St. Patrick's Day for a quick Vancouver rendez-vous with Great Aunt Deirdre, Great Uncle Tim, and Cousins-once-removed Hayden and Luke, who were passing through on their way home from Whistler.

March Break

Dad has a week off from being overworked. It's just the three of us at home for the next 5 days. Ben loves being cuddled...a little too much, i.e., Mom has very little two-handed-typing computer time, hence the tardiness in blog entries (and email replies). Here are some rare non-cuddle-time photos of Ben - the one in yellow taken Feb 26th. And to show how much he's changed since then, the one of him in his favourite sleeping position with his surfer hairdoo was taken March 12th. The last one (Mar 15th) is of him sort-of smiling in his sleep. He has started smiling on purpose - even smiled for Great Aunt Deirdre yesterday. We'll try to capture that on camera next.
